UNIFORM

 

Decided on by captain(s) and sponsor. School administration must approve.

 

 

THE TEAM

 

The squad will consist of 12-16 members. All members will perform at select football/basketball pep rallies and at select basketball games. We will also compete in 1-5 competitions during the year.

 

SCHEDULES

 

A schedule will be given in advance to request time off from work etc…. Practice times are from 2:30-4:00. The actual practice schedule will be planned month to month based on sponsor’s schedule and our performance schedule.

 

ATTENDANCE

 

Attendance is mandatory for practices and performances. IF you plan to miss a practice notify the sponsor in advance. IF it is an emergency notify the sponsor as soon as possible. If you miss a practice you may not be allowed to perform. Be there and be on time. Practices end at 4:00….you must have a ride. You CANNOT hang around school.

 

GRADES

 

You must have a 2.5 GPA in order to be on the team. If you fall below a 2.5 you may be removed from the team or placed on probation. It is the sponsor and possibly captain(s)

decision.

 

SPONSOR

 

If a team member breaks a rule, drops in GPA, or has any other infraction… the sponsor reserves the right to place on probation or dismiss the team member. The captains may also recommend the removal or probation of a team member for various reasons. If a team member quits, or just stops showing up, they will not be eligible to try out in the future.

 

 

 

Rules

 

• No curse words or negative comments at practice.

 

• No laziness

 

• No Food… Water only, practice starts at 2:30, have your snack before then

 

• NO cell phones at practice

 

• MUST not have any OSS during the school year (May get kicked off)

 

• MUST not have more than 2 ISS during the school year ( May get kicked off)

 

• Must be in good standing with all 4 teachers (grades, attendance etc…)

 

 

 

__________________________________ has my permission to tryout/and or participate in the Lebanon High School Blue Devil Hip Hop Step Team for the 2015-2016 school year. I have read the requirements established for all members and I will assist in every way to see that they are enforced.

 

I understand that stepping/dancing is a strenuous activity. Members are expected to be in good physical health. While I expect school authorizes to exercise reasonable precautions to avoid injuries, I understand that the school assumes no financial obligations for any injury that may occur. I will be responsible for any expense incurred by my child while participating as a member of the team.
